Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) apple does not make too much acquisitions but, when it make it become a big news.
Apple is going to acquire streaming video and photo sharing network Color Labs, based in Palo Alto, California.
Color Labs which was founded last year by Bill Nguyen and Peter Pham, When the company unveiled its photo-sharing app it got more than a million downloads, but later on its user dropped significantly. It is also in news that Google offered to buy Color Labs against $200 million.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) traded with volume of 17.02 million shares in last session which was unexpectedly lower versus average trading capacity of 18.36 million shares. The stock traded with opening bell at $639.59, gained the maximum price level of $642.06 and then finished the day at $632.64 by scoring -1.86%.
AAPL remained successful in generating revenue of $148.81 billion in the trailing twelve months and made net income of $40.13 billion. The Company maintained a positive 26.97% for the net profit margin and in its operating margin it scored 35.62%. Company’s yearly revenue change for the last five years was 41.16%.
The AAPL’s price to sales ratio is 3.99 and price to cash ratio is 21.45 for the past 12 months. As far as the returns from the company is concerned, return on assets remained as +29.77%.
The stock showed upbeat performance of 0.72% for the week which was maintained for the month at -9.89%. Likewise the positive performance for the trailing 3 months was recorded as +5.14% and in last year was 59.39% while the performance so far in current year remains at +56.88%.
