Research In Motion Limited (USA) (NASDAQ: RIMM) BlackBerry maker which was dominating the smart phone industry once, now tumbled to the bottom in worlds top brands in smart phone.
According to a report RIMM is now on 93rd position in the list of top hundred global brands, it was having 56th position in 2011. BlackBerry maker dropped $3.9 billion or 39% from previous year.
It is also noted that the shipments of BlackBerry went off 41 per cent in the previous year and now its shares stands at 4.8 per cent worldwide.
Research In Motion Limited (USA) (NASDAQ:RIMM) traded with volume of 55,074,200 shares in last session which was unexpectedly higher versus average trading capacity of 25.78 shares. The stock traded with opening bell at $7.90, gained the maximum price level of $8.44 and then finished the day at $8.27 by scoring +5.22%.
RIMM remained successful in generating revenue of $15.05 billion in the trailing twelve months and made net income of -$613.00 million.
